Heralded for its 'Motown Sound,' Motown would be nothing without its infamous 'Motown Back Beat.' Drummers the world over, have desperately sought to mirror or imitate its dynamic signature and natural seasonings in funk.

Having been trained by three of the greatest jazz drummers the city of Detroit has ever been able to offer up, (Roy Brooks, Charles Bannister and Bert Myrick,) needless to say, the 'Motown Back Beat' had come as all inclusive, or standard to the now skilled repertoire of Brandon W. Hamilton.

Skilled in all styles of music, Brandon has the unique ability to bring that 'fire' to any rhythm or sound.

Well experienced in studio and live performances, Brandon has had the pleasure of accentuating the sounds of such artist's as Liz Lands, Viola 'Pumpkin' Jewel, Karen Byrd, Sparkling Brown Sugar, Emanuel Taylor, Craig 'Ayodele' Jones, (the Dramatics') Ronnie McNair (the Four Tops,) the Perfect Touch, C.J. & Company, the Contours, the Seventh Force Band just to name a few.

A talented lyricist, vocalist and composer himself, Brandon has set his sights on the recording and release of one of his own new CD's, scheduled for release in early '08!
